- Areas of application: Meets the increased requirements of the Caterpillar TO-4 specification and is therefore suitable for use in transmissions, final drives, hydraulics, wet brakes and clutches that require this specification. High shear forces and coefficients of friction occur in the units, and the wear protection requirements are high. In order to meet these requirements, to prevent slipping of the transmission clutches, chattering noises in the wet brakes and gear wear, and to optimise the service life of the units, the tensile force and material preservation, a special hydraulic and transmission oil is required. Because of the high shear stress, single-grade oils according to SAE are preferred.
