- Version: Silicone gasket - excellent adhesion. Ideal for applications requiring high temperature resistance. No labeling requirement. LOCTITE® SI 5990 is a non-corrosive silicone sealant. It is cured by atmospheric moisture and forms a permanently elastic seal. Due to its thixotropic behavior, LOCTITE SI 5990 reduces migration of the liquid product after application to the part. It offers excellent temperature resistance.
