Steering gear oil 3100 can be used in both mechanical steering systems and power steering systems in numerous Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Selected base oils and modern additive components guarantee an optimum viscosity and friction coefficient, very good wear protection, high thermal and ageing stability, as well as excellent corrosion protection. Steering gear oil 3100 also has excellent low-temperature behaviour. - Additional information: The regulations of the unit and vehicle manufacturers must be observed. Steering gear oil 3100 is also suitable for refilling in systems in which conventional ATF oils of these specifications are used. However, optimum effectiveness is only possible when used unmixed.
