A Premium 850 is a tractor you spend long days in, and a seat with worn suspension lets you know about it after a day of mowing or road work. That is why the parts for this model include tractor seats from GRAMMER and Cobo, among them an air suspended seat with fabric upholstery. Mirrors and a Walterscheid top drawbar complete the picture around the cab.
For road use there are headlights, rear lights, indicator and position lights and separate lamp glasses. If only the glass has cracked and the reflector is still sound, a new lamp glass is often all you need. Alternators and contact switches are here as well.
When the battery no longer charges properly, measure the charging voltage with the engine running before you swap the alternator. A loose earth strap or a corroded plug causes exactly the same symptoms and takes minutes to put right.
Splitting a tractor for a clutch job is something you only want to do once. For the Premium 850 there are clutch plates, including LUK, and thrust bearings. Always renew the thrust bearing together with the clutch plate, even if the old one still turns quietly. Check the flywheel while you are in there. Blue heat marks or deep scoring on the friction face mean it needs attention before the new plate goes on.
On the engine side you will find seal kits, a vibration damper and gaskets such as the thermostat gasket. A new thermostat deserves a new gasket too, since a flattened old one rarely seals a second time.

The type plate on your tractor gives the exact model and chassis number, and the old part often carries a stamped number or a printed label. With lights and mirrors, mounting is what matters. A mirror has to suit the arm already fitted to the cab, and with a headlight it makes a difference whether it is flush fitted or mounted on a frame.
