- Version: LOCTITE® SF 7800 is a solvent-based zinc and aluminum spray that achieves excellent cathodic corrosion protection on ferrous metals at room temperature. Typical applications include preservation of metal parts after welding and long-term protection for metal assemblies; it is also used to restore the protective coating on galvanized parts during repair (e.g., bumpers, pipes, flanges, tanks, fittings, etc.). The application temperature range is between -50 and +550 °C.
