Exhaust gas cooler

Description: In common rail engine technology, the exhaust gas coolers have the important task of cooling the exhaust gases to the right temperature so that the emissions standard can be met. The associated temperature changes produce condensate, which ultimately brings corrosion damage. These can lead to leaks, which result in the exhaust gas cooler having to be replaced. The GRANIT exhaust gas coolers have been tested in terms of material analysis, tightness and cooling performance by our laboratory. The laboratory result shows that the service life of GRANIT exhaust gas coolers is as long as that of the OE manufacturers.
