This page lists more than 40 items for the Zetor 4712 from the UR1 series, such as lighting, brake and transmission parts, and electrics for this model.
After years of field work, the Zetor 4712 tends to ask for attention in a few familiar places. This page brings together more than 40 replacement parts for this UR1 series tractor from GRANIT, LUK and MAHLE, covering the clutch, the brakes, the cooling circuit, the electrics and the road lights.
The drum brakes on the 4712 rely on wheel brake cylinders. Once fluid shows behind the dust boot, the cylinder needs replacing. Do both sides at the same time so the tractor pulls up straight, and bleed the system thoroughly afterwards. A soft pedal after the job almost always means there is still air in the lines.
For the drivetrain there are clutch plates and double clutch pressure assemblies, which keep the travel clutch and the PTO clutch working separately. If you have the tractor split anyway, renew the plate and pressure assembly together and check the flywheel for scoring and heat marks. That way you only have to split it once.
The cooling side covers water pumps with gasket, radiator hoses and radiator caps. A tired radiator cap is easy to overlook, yet a worn seal in the cap lets the system lose pressure and the engine runs hotter even with a healthy pump. Fitting a new water pump is a good moment to replace any hoses that feel hard or cracked.
On the electrical side you will find starter motors and alternators. For road use there are headlights, separate main headlight inserts, lamp glasses, an indicator position light and a rear light. A cracked lamp glass can often be swapped on its own. A push button switch and a hydraulic steering part complete the picture.
Zetor made many UR1 types with similar engineering, which makes checking all the more important. Start with the type plate to confirm exactly which model you have, then look for a reference number stamped or printed on the old part. With starter motors and alternators, compare the mounting and the plug connection as well before ordering.
