Zetor 6211 parts

The Zetor 6211 belongs to the UR1 series, and owners tend to keep these tractors working for a long time. What they need along the way is rarely a major rebuild, more often a clutch plate, a wheel brake cylinder or a radiator hose that has gone hard. This page lists more than 100 parts that fit the 6211, from GRANIT alongside ROCKINGER, Walterscheid, MAHLE and LUK.

Cab parts

For the cab you will find mirrors, gas struts, window rubbers and lamp glasses. A dried out window rubber lets in draughts and rain. Fitting a new one is straightforward if you work the rubber around the glass with a little lubricant before seating it in the frame.

Clutch, brakes and steering

The 6211 uses a double clutch, so both double clutch pressure assemblies and individual clutch plates are available here. If the PTO keeps turning when you dip the clutch, or gears become hard to select, the clutch and its adjustment are the first things to check.

On the brake side there are wheel brake cylinders for the drum brakes, and for the steering there are ball joints. After replacing a wheel cylinder, bleed the whole brake circuit, starting at the wheel furthest from the master cylinder. Use fresh fluid from a sealed container, as an opened tin absorbs moisture over time.

Cooling, starting and exhaust

Radiator hoses and radiator caps keep the cooling system tight. A cap that no longer seals lets pressure escape, which makes the engine boil sooner, so replace it whenever you change the hoses. Starter motors and exhaust gaskets complete this group.

Hitching

For towing there are drawbars, flange hitches and top drawbars.

Adjusting the clutch after fitting

With a new clutch plate or double clutch in place, the adjustment matters just as much as the part. Check the pedal play and set it according to the workshop manual for your tractor. Too little play makes the clutch slip and burns the plate. Too much and it never separates fully, so the gears crunch. Recheck after the first few working hours, because a fresh plate beds in a little at first.

Matching the part to your tractor

Check the type plate to confirm you have a 6211, then compare the reference number on the old part with the details given for the product. With radiator hoses, shape and position, top or bottom, help as well.

Other Zetor models from the UR1 series each have their own page:
