The Zetor 6340 belongs to the UR1 series, and this page brings together more than 80 parts for it, led by trailer couplings, lighting and electrics.
The Zetor 6340 is a tractor that owners tend to keep for a long time and maintain themselves. This page lists more than 80 Zetor 6340 parts from GRANIT, ROCKINGER, Walterscheid, LUK and MANN-FILTER, with a strong focus on gaskets, seals and brake parts.
When fitting a cylinder head gasket, clean the faces of head and block thoroughly without scoring them, check the head for flatness and tighten the bolts in the specified sequence and in stages. Anything you disturb on the way gets a fresh gasket, even if the old one looks fine.
Wheel brake cylinders for the drum brakes are available for both sides. After fitting one, bleed the brakes properly with the fluid shown on the reservoir, DOT 4 for these cylinders, and never mix fluid types.
Alternators, lamp glasses, gas struts for the rear window, door or roof hatch, window rubber by the roll and gear lever gaiters complete the picture for the cab and electrics.
At the rear, the 6340 takes drawbars, flange hitches and a top drawbar. Measure the bolt pattern on the tractor before choosing a flange hitch.
At an oil change, screw the new engine oil filter on by hand after wiping its rubber ring with a little clean oil. No tools are needed, and using them only makes the filter hard to remove next time. Run the engine briefly and check that the filter stays dry. If the alternator has stopped charging, check the belt and the wiring before you replace it. With window rubber, it is better to redo the whole frame than patch one leaking spot, because old rubber hardens and tears further along.
The gear lever gaiter looks like a minor item, but it keeps dust, draughts and noise out of the cab. Once it has split, dirt reaches the gear linkage, so replace it in good time. The same goes for radiator hoses that feel swollen or brittle.
The 6340 belongs to the Zetor UR1 range. Start with the type plate on the tractor, and where you can, compare the reference number on the old filter, hose or gasket. Other UR1 tractors with their own pages:
The Zetor 5211 and 7711 are part of the same range. Every Zetor model can be reached from Zetor parts.
