The Zetor 7245 belongs to the UR1 series, and this page holds more than 90 parts for it, including trailer couplings, electrics and brake and gearbox parts.
The Zetor 7245 is a tractor you can do a great deal of work on yourself, and the more than 90 replacement parts on this page suit that approach. They cover the cooling system, the clutch, the hitch and the cab, from makers such as GRANIT, ROCKINGER, Walterscheid, MAHLE and LUK.
An engine that creeps up in temperature on a warm day often has a simple cause. Start with the radiator hoses and the radiator cap. A hose can look fine on the outside yet be soft and swollen inside, so it collapses at high revs. Give it a squeeze when the engine is cold. A spongy feel means it is due for renewal. The cap keeps the system under pressure, and a hardened seal inside it lowers the boiling point. Only open it once the engine has cooled.
If the head has to come off, the cylinder head gasket is here, along with an oil sump gasket for the bottom of the block and an exhaust gasket.
On the drive side there are clutch plates and double clutch assemblies, plus starter motors to get the engine going. When you do the clutch, replace the plate and the pressure assembly together so the tractor only needs splitting once.
For coupling up there are automatic drawbars, flange hitches and a top drawbar. Around the cab you will find mirrors, gas struts, window rubbers and lamp glasses. Old window rubbers harden and crack over the years, letting draughts and rain into the cab. A new rubber goes in far more easily with a little soapy water and a length of cord pulled through the lip.
The 7245 belongs to the Zetor UR1 series. The type plate gives you the exact model and serial number. Many components, such as a clutch plate or a starter motor, carry a stamped number or a small label. Compare it with the product details before you order.
Other models from the same series each have their own page, for example the Zetor 3011, Zetor 4712, Zetor 4911, Zetor 6211, Zetor 6340 and Zetor 7211. The Zetor 5211 and 7711 come from the same series too. Useful if there is more than one Zetor in the shed. Every other model from the make is under Zetor parts.
