More than 60 parts for the Landini 9880 are listed here. Brake and transmission parts, trailer couplings, and steering and front axle items all fit this model.
Ordering a hydraulic pump for a Landini 9880 sounds simple until the new one turns out to rotate the wrong way. Pumps for this tractor come in anticlockwise and clockwise versions, and that difference decides if your linkage lifts afterwards. This page carries more than 60 parts for the 9880, from brands such as GRANIT, Walterscheid, Cobo, Bosch/Rexroth and Perkins.
Before ordering, take a close look at the old pump. The rotation is often marked with an arrow on the body, and otherwise you can tell it from the position of the suction and pressure ports. Bosch/Rexroth is a well known name for these pumps. Prime a new pump with clean oil before the first start so it never runs dry. For the steering there are steering cylinders and seal kits, and for the linkage there are sealing rings for the lift cylinder.
The brakes on a 9880 work hard when hauling a loaded trailer. There are master brake cylinders and repair sets for the brake cylinder. A repair set lets you renew the rubbers without replacing the whole cylinder, provided the bore is still smooth and without rust. For the clutch you will find a double clutch pressure plate, thrust bearings and a clutch cable. After fitting a new cable, reset the pedal play, or the thrust bearing will wear out early.
For servicing there are engine oil filters and a water pump gasket for the Perkins engine. Smear a thin film of clean oil on the rubber ring of a new oil filter and tighten it by hand only. Starter motors, spacers and a top drawbar from Walterscheid or Cobo complete the page.
On the 9880 it pays to retighten the starter motor bolts after a few weeks. A starter that sits even slightly loose meshes its pinion at an angle with the flywheel ring gear, and both wear fast. The top drawbar must be locked before you drive off, so always check that the latch has fully engaged after hitching up. Spacers look unimportant but set the correct position of a part, so use the same size as the one that came out.
The type plate tells you if you are dealing with the 9880. Compare the number on the old part with the reference number shown for the product, and with a hydraulic pump always double check the rotation too. From the same 80 series, the Landini 6880, Landini 7880 and Landini 8880 each have their own page with the parts for that model. If you also run another Landini, choose it from Landini parts.
