Trailer couplings and electrics are two of the groups you will find for the Lindner Geotrac 94. In all, more than 40 parts for this tractor are listed here.
On the Geotrac 94, much depends on what is hooked up at the back. Of the more than 40 parts we carry for this model, a good share belongs to the hitch system: drawbars with ball, top drawbars, Piton Fix, automatic hitches, ball hitches and adaptor plates. They come from Scharmüller, Walterscheid and GRANIT.
A drawbar or ball hitch slides into a rail and is held by a locking pin. When replacing one, the rail width on your tractor is the first thing to check, then the diameter of the locking pin. Measure both on the existing unit before choosing. A height adjustable adaptor plate helps when you want to pull a trailer with a different drawbar height. After fitting, tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque and check them again after the first few hours of work.
A simple check on a ball hitch is to look at the ball and the latch. A ball that has worn visibly oval, or a latch that no longer snaps shut on its own, is reason enough to replace it. A separate ball is available too, so you do not always need to renew the whole unit. A light smear of grease on the ball reduces wear on both ball and drawbar eye.
For the cab there are tractor seats from GRAMMER and PROBOSS, including air suspended versions. With a new seat, check the mounting pattern underneath. If you have to drill holes or make up adaptors, it is not the right seat.
On the steering side you will find ball joints and axial joints. The axial joint sits in the track rod, and play there gives vague steering on the road. While you are at it, look at the rubber boots too, because a split boot lets dirt and water into the joint. There is also an alternator and an inner part sold as a separate spare.
The alternator on this page has a W terminal. It supplies a speed signal that drives the rev counter on some tractors, so wire it up exactly like the old one and check that the charge warning light goes out once the engine is running. If it stays on, look at the plug and the belt tension before you start doubting the alternator itself.
An air suspended seat has a compressor that needs power. Connect it to a fused supply, never straight to the battery without a fuse.
The type plate on your Lindner shows the model and chassis number. For hitch parts the rail width and pin diameter matter just as much, and for ball joints the thread and taper of the old part. If a reference number is stamped into the old component, write it down before you start comparing.
Other Lindner models are listed under Lindner parts, each with its own page.
