Fendt Fix 2 technical specifications

The Fendt Fix 2 is a compact tractor from Fendt’s well-known Fix series and was produced from 1968 to 1970. This model was built at the Fendt factory in Marktoberdorf, Germany, and was designed for smaller farms, yard work, and light pulling applications. Within the Fendt range, the Fix series was known as a practical and reliable line of compact tractors with simple engineering and low maintenance requirements. Thanks to its compact dimensions and excellent manoeuvrability, the Fendt Fix 2 was especially suitable for smaller farms and narrow working areas.

The Fendt Fix 2 is equipped with an MWM 2-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine with a displacement of 1,400 cc. This engine produces approximately 19 hp at 2,000 rpm and is known for its durable construction and easy maintenance. The tractor features a 6 forward and 2 reverse gearbox, allowing for a top speed of approximately 20 km/h. In addition, the tractor is fitted with a 540 rpm PTO, making it suitable for operating various agricultural machines and implements.

The Fendt Fix 2 measures approximately 289 cm in length, 175 cm in width, and has an operating weight of around 1,365 kg. Standard tyre sizes are 5.00-16 at the front and 9.5-28 at the rear. From the factory, the Fendt Fix 2 was supplied in the characteristic Fendt green paintwork with red wheels, as was common for Fendt tractors of this period. Due to its compact design, straightforward engineering, and reliable engine, the Fendt Fix 2 remains popular today among vintage tractor enthusiasts and hobby users.
