A Ford 6710 from the 10 series has more than 150 matching parts on this page. They include lighting, trailer couplings and electrics, among other groups.
The Ford 6710 is a tractor plenty of owners still work on themselves. For that, this page has more than 150 new parts that fit this model, from the clutch to the rear lights. They come from brands such as GRANIT, LUK, Eaton, Cobo and Sauermann.
For the clutch there are clutch plates and single clutch covers, including LUK items. If you are splitting the tractor anyway, replace the plate and the pressure cover in one go. While it is apart, look at the flywheel: scoring, blue patches or hairline cracks mean the face needs skimming. Centre the new plate with an alignment tool before tightening the cover, or you will struggle to bring gearbox and engine back together cleanly.
The water pump comes with a pulley and gasket. Flush the cooling system when you change it, otherwise scale from the old pump and the block ends up in the new one. On the exhaust side there is a gasket between the exhaust manifold and the turbocharger, and for servicing an engine oil filter. Starter motors are here too.
Rear lights, indicator and position lights and headlights for left and right make sure the 6710 is clearly visible on the road again. When a lamp fails, check the earth first. On an older tractor a corroded contact is often the real cause. Clean the contacts back to bare metal, add a thin film of contact grease and only then refit the lamp.
For the steering there are ball joints, for the handbrake a hand brake cable and seals. In the cab, gas struts for the front and rear screen will fit, at the rear there are drawbars, and a tank cap completes the list.
A stiff hand brake cable stretches faster and leaves the handbrake only half applied. Lubricate the new cable as you fit it and readjust the handbrake afterwards so it grips evenly on both sides.
Start at the type plate to confirm it is a 6710. Clutch plates, water pumps and starter motors often carry a reference number, and that is the quickest way to check whether a new part matches the old one.
Ford placed this 6710 in its 10 line. If you also run a Ford 3610, Ford 5110, Ford 6810 or Ford 7710, their own pages list the parts that fit them. Other Ford models are covered on Ford parts.
