Classic tractor parts, lighting and electrics for the Ford 7600 are all on this page. In total you can choose from more than 200 items that fit this model.
The Ford 7600 sits at the heavy end of the Ford 100 series, and its six-cylinder engine is what keeps it earning its keep. This page lists more than 200 new replacement Ford 7600 parts from GRANIT, MAHLE, LUK, Eaton, GRAMMER and others.
For an engine rebuild there are main bearing sets, connecting rod bearing sets, valve stem seals for the inlet valves and fuel system gaskets. Blue smoke on a cold start after the tractor has stood overnight often points to hardened valve stem seals, and these can usually be replaced without lifting the cylinder head. You will also find a seal for the feed pump, a stop cable and engine oil filters.
The water pump comes in a version without an intermediate plate, so check how your old pump is mounted to the block before ordering. A starter motor is available too, for when the old one turns the engine over slowly or sticks.
At every oil change, smear the rubber ring of the new engine oil filter with clean oil and tighten the filter by hand only, then check it stays dry after the first run. A stop cable that has become stiff is worth replacing before it snaps, because an engine that will not shut down cleanly is a real nuisance at the wrong moment.
Driveline parts include the clutch plate for a single clutch on a flat flywheel, plus internal plates. For the three-point linkage there are lift rods and gear wheels, and at the front you can replace the ball joints on the steering rods. One loose joint puts extra load on the others, so it pays to renew both ends of a steering rod together.
After a long day of ploughing you notice the seat, and a GRAMMER Compacto is among the seats that fit this tractor.
Fords from this period differ in detail between production runs even when they look identical. Read the type plate first. A reference number on the old part, cast into a water pump housing or stamped on a bearing shell, settles any doubt. With bearing sets, find out whether the crankshaft has been reground before, because a standard size will not fit a reground shaft.
