Brakes and transmission, lighting and engine parts are some examples from the more than 80 items that fit the Landini 6500 tractor.
The jobs that come up on an older Landini 6500 tend to follow a pattern. A clutch that starts to slip, a water pump that weeps, a seat that has lost its spring. This page brings together more than 80 replacement parts that fit this tractor, from GRANIT and from makers such as LUK, GRAMMER, Cobo and KS. All of them are new parts, aimed at farmers and mechanics who do the work themselves.
Once the tractor is split, fit a new thrust bearing as a matter of course, even if the old one still turns smoothly by hand. It is a small part compared with the labour involved, and a bearing that starts to whine a few months later means splitting the tractor all over again. While it is apart, look closely at the friction face of the flywheel. Scoring or blue heat marks point to slipping, and a new plate alone will not cure that.
The same thinking applies at the front of the engine. If you replace the water pump, put on a new V-belt as well, because a worn belt is usually stretched and glazed and will slip on the new pulley. Set the tension so the belt deflects about a thumb width midway between two pulleys, and check it again after the first few hours of work.
Start with the type plate to confirm you are working on a 6500 and not another model from the same range. With the old part removed, look for a stamped or cast reference number and compare it with the details shown for each product. On a feed pump, count the mounting holes and check the flange. On a clutch plate, measure the diameter and count the splines in the hub.
Two related models from the same range have their own pages, so if you run one of those as well, go to Landini 5500 or Landini 8500 for the parts listed there. Every other Landini model is reachable from Landini parts.
