Servicing a Landini 6880 from the 80 series? This page shows more than 90 parts for this model, such as parts for the transmission, brakes, steering and lights.
When a Landini 6880 starts to slip on a pull or the linkage lifts slowly, the fix usually sits in the clutch housing or the hydraulic pump. This page brings together more than 90 replacement parts that fit this tractor, from GRANIT, LUK, Walterscheid, PROBOSS and Cobo.
For the clutch there are complete clutch kits for the flat flywheel, separate clutch plates, thrust bearings and double clutch assemblies that combine the driving clutch and the PTO clutch. On the hydraulic side you will find pumps in clockwise and anticlockwise versions and sealing rings for the lift cylinder.
Pump rotation is the classic trap. A clockwise pump will bolt on where an anticlockwise one should sit, but it will not deliver oil. Look at the shaft of the old pump from the drive end, check the taper and shaft diameter, and use any number cast or stamped on the pump body as your reference. For a clutch plate, count the splines on the old disc before ordering.
A tip from the workshop: once the tractor is split for a new clutch plate, fit a new thrust bearing at the same time. The bearing costs little compared with the labour, and a worn one tends to start whining just after everything has been put back together. While the flywheel is exposed, check its friction face for scoring and heat cracks.
Brakes deserve the same care. A repair set for the brake cylinder replaces the cups and seals, so the cylinder body can stay on the tractor. Clean the bore thoroughly and look for rust pitting, because a new cup wears out quickly against a rough wall. Bleed each side afterwards until no more air bubbles come through.
The type plate gives you the model and serial number for any question you need to ask. The quickest match, though, comes from the reference number on the part you have just removed.
If you also run a bigger model from the same series, its parts are on a page of their own:
Check fitment for each model on its own page. Older and newer Landini ranges are gathered on the page with all Landini parts.
