Landini 7880 parts are gathered here in one clear overview. Choose from more than 90 items, with brake and transmission parts, lighting and trailer couplings.
The Landini 7880 belongs to the 80 series, and on a tractor of this age the jobs that come up are familiar ones: a slipping clutch, a lift that drops overnight, a tired engine or a seat that has given up. This page brings together more than 90 parts that fit the 7880, supplied by GRANIT, Cobo, Walterscheid, LUK and PROBOSS.
For an engine rebuild there are pistons and piston ring sets, and for the cooling system a selection of radiator hoses. Squeeze each hose when the engine is cold. One that feels soft or shows cracks near the clip is better replaced in the yard than at the far end of a field.
The clutch range includes complete clutch kits, clutch plates, thrust bearings and double clutches, some of them as reconditioned exchange units. A double clutch drives both the transmission and the PTO, so wear shows up in both. Once the tractor is split, always fit a new thrust bearing even if the old one still runs quietly. It is a small part, but a failed bearing means splitting the tractor all over again. Check the flywheel face for scoring and heat marks while you are there.
Hydraulic parts include single hydraulic pumps and sealing rings for the lift cylinder, often the cure for a lift that slowly sinks. Repair sets for the brake cylinder, axial joints for the steering, spacers and top drawbars complete the picture. In the cab, several tractor seats are available, including air suspended PROBOSS models. Before fitting a new seat, compare the mounting holes on the cab floor with the base of the new one, as a different pattern calls for an adapter bracket. For the steering joints, have someone rock the wheel while you hold the joint. A knock or visible movement means it is due.
The type plate on your Landini 7880 shows the model and serial number. For clutch parts, the reference number on the old plate or pressure plate is your best guide, together with the number of splines on the hub. Count them on the old part and compare with the product description. For hydraulic pumps, check the direction of rotation as well.
The other tractors in the Landini 80 series each have a dedicated page with the parts for that type:
