Keep your Landini 8880 working with parts chosen for this model. More than 80 are listed, including brakes and transmission, lighting and trailer couplings.
The Landini 8880 is a tractor you can still keep running yourself with the right parts. Hydraulic pumps, brake cylinders, piston rings and clutch bearings are not exotic items, and with a decent workshop manual much of the work can be done in your own shed. This page lists more than 80 replacement parts that fit the model, from GRANIT, GRAMMER, Cobo, Walterscheid and LUK.
For the 8880 there are hydraulic pumps and single hydraulic pumps, in both left-hand and right-hand rotation. That difference matters: a pump turning the wrong way delivers nothing or destroys itself. Check on the old pump body which way it turns, seen from the drive shaft, and compare that with the product. Prime the new pump with oil before the first start so it does not run dry, and let the engine idle until the linkage responds normally.
For the clutch there are thrust bearings and pilot bearings. With the clutch out, always fit a new pilot bearing in the flywheel while you are there, as that saves splitting the tractor a second time later. For the steering there are axial joints and ball joints.
For the brakes there are master brake cylinders and repair kits for the brake cylinder. When bleeding, use the fluid specified for this brake system and never mix types. The wrong fluid makes the rubber seals swell and the brakes start to drag. For the engine there are piston ring sets, and for the cooling system radiator hoses. Replace a hose that feels soft or shows small cracks at the clamp straight away, even if it is not leaking yet.
At the rear there is a top drawbar, and for the driver there are air-suspended tractor seats and seats from the PROBOSS line, some with seat heating. Sealing rings complete the set.
Check the type plate before ordering. Landini released several tractors in this range with similar numbers. After that, the reference number on the old part settles it. Compare it with the details shown with the product on this page. For a pump, also look at the shaft taper and the displacement per revolution marked on the old housing.
The other models in this range also have their own page:
