A smaller range, but matched to the model: for the Renault 70-12 you will find more than 50 parts here, such as lighting and electrics that fit this tractor.
Plenty of Renault 70-12 tractors still do a day's work, feeding, yard work or running a mower. When something wears on a machine like that, you want it back in action quickly. This page lists more than 50 parts for the 70-12, covering the areas where an older Renault tends to need attention first.
Confirm on the type plate that you have a 70-12, then look at the worn part for a stamped or cast number. With filters and hoses, holding the old one against the details of the item usually settles the question.
MAHLE and GRANIT parts are on the page as well. The GRANIT stabilizer strut is made specifically for the Renault R series, which the 70-12 is part of.
A stop cable only works smoothly when it runs in wide curves. Follow the old routing, clamp the outer sheath firmly and check that the lever on the injection pump reaches the full stop position. A cable that ends up slightly short can leave the engine running.
To check a ball joint, have someone rock the steering wheel back and forth while you grip the joint. Any play you can feel, or a knock you can hear, means it is due. After fitting a new one, reset the toe-in.
After changing the MANN-FILTER fuel filter, bleed the system at the bleed screw until only fuel without air bubbles comes out, or an older diesel will stall after a few minutes. If one radiator hose has gone, check the others while you are there. A hose that feels hard or shows fine cracks when squeezed will be next, and fitting new clamps with a new hose avoids leaks from an old clamp that has lost its shape.
These models from the same range each have a page of their own:
The 85-34 and 77-12 also belong to the series. For the full range of the make, head to Renault onderdelen.
