Same Explorer 95 parts

An Explorer 95 that does road work needs its lights in order. A cracked lamp glass, an indicator knocked loose by a gatepost or a dead number plate light is enough to keep the tractor off the road. This page lists more than 120 Same Explorer 95 parts, with lighting alongside seats, mirrors, alternators and drawbars, from makers including GRANIT, Cobo, GRAMMER, ROCKINGER and Walterscheid.

Lights and mirrors

For the Explorer 95 there are headlights, rear lights, indicator and position lights, number plate lights, separate lamp glasses, work lamps and mirrors. One thing to watch with headlights: a dipped beam with an asymmetric pattern is made for either right-hand or left-hand traffic. Versions for left-hand traffic exist, so check which one you order, or you will dazzle oncoming drivers. When a light flickers, clean the earth connection as well. A green, corroded contact is a common reason for a dim lamp.

Seat, charging and switches

You spend a lot of hours on an Explorer, and a broken seat soon makes itself felt. There are tractor seats and seats such as the mechanically sprung GRAMMER Compacto. In the dashboard sit push button switches, such as the button for the starting aid. There are also alternators, vibration dampers, seal kits and gaskets, for example for the water pump. For towing there are drawbars, including a K80 version. If the battery is not charging properly after work, check the belt tension and the cables on the alternator before replacing it. A slipping belt or a loose charging cable gives exactly the same symptoms as an alternator that has really failed. Also look at the vibration damper now and then: cracked rubber or a ring that has shifted makes the engine run rougher.

Choosing correctly for your Explorer 95

The Same Explorer series includes several models, each with its own number, so first check the type plate to confirm you have an Explorer 95. For a lamp or mirror, the old part already tells you a lot: its shape, the mounting and the connector. For an alternator or seal kit, compare the reference number on the old part with the number shown with the product on this page.

If you run more than one Explorer, each model has its own page with the parts that fit it:

All other tractors from the brand are on the Same parts page.
