Before ordering a cushion, look at the label on the seat itself rather than only at the data plate on the truck. It shows the seat series, for example MSG 65 or MSG 93, and that is what decides which seat cushion or back cushion fits. Write it down before you take the old cushion off. If the seat base is worn as well, a complete forklift seat is the better fix.
An ignition lock, start switches, blade fuses and a rubber cap cover the controls. For the cab there is window rubber sold by the roll, useful when a pane has come loose in its frame or the cab lets in draughts. Duo-Sensitiv lap belts complete the safety side.
At every service, give the lap belt a sharp tug. It should lock, then wind back smoothly when you let go. A frayed or cut strap, or a buckle that no longer clicks home, means the belt is replaced there and then, not at the next service. A belt that only hangs there for show will not hold anyone if the truck tips. For anything else, such as a switch or a lamp, the number on the old part is the quickest way to the matching replacement.
Window rubber from the roll is cut to length on the truck. Remove every bit of the old profile and clean the frame and glass, since old sealant and dirt stop the new rubber from seating properly. Check the clamping range against the thickness of the panel it has to grip. Start at the bottom of the pane and work round, so the joint ends up low down where it is least exposed, and use a little soapy water to ease the profile over the edge.
