Looking for parts for your Fendt Favorit 4 tractor? In this category, you'll find everything you need for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
The Fendt Favorit 4 is one of the rarest tractors in the entire Favorit lineup. It was produced from 1966 to 1967 at the Fendt factory in Marktoberdorf, Germany, with a total production run of just 24 units. The tractor was available in both a 2WD and a 4WD version, with the 4WD variant proving popular for larger farming operations. Its successor, the Fendt Favorit 4S, followed in 1967 and was built through 1970 with a larger engine and several technical updates.
Power comes from a MWM D208.6 six-cylinder inline diesel engine, naturally aspirated and liquid-cooled, with direct injection. Displacement is 4.5 litres, with a bore and stroke of 95 x 105 mm. At a rated speed of 2,300 rpm, the engine produces 80 hp (59.7 kW). The electrical system runs on 12 volts with electric start. Fuel tank capacity is approximately 130 litres (34.3 gal).
The Favorit 4S that replaced it used a MWM D225-6 with 5.1 litres displacement and 90 hp, paired with a Bosch distributor injection pump and a two-circuit cooling system with groove thermostat.
The Favorit 4 came with a choice of two gearbox configurations:
Steering on the 2WD version is manual; the 4WD variant came with power steering. The steering remained operational even with the engine off. Brakes are mechanical drum brakes. The 4WD drive system can be engaged and disengaged while moving.
The rear hydraulic lift uses Fendt's automatic regulation system with a lifting capacity of around 2,600 kg at the lower link ends. The rear PTO runs at 540 or 1,000 rpm.
The driver's seat is a saddle-style seat adjustable for weight and height, with a parallelogram-guided seat carrier, spring suspension, and hydraulic damping.
