The Fendt Favorit 824 is a tractor from Fendt's Favorit 800 series. The tractor was built from 1993 to 2004 in Marktoberdorf, Germany, with a total of 2,094 units produced. This makes it by far the best-selling model in the Favorit 800 series.
The Favorit 824 delivered 230 hp (169 kW) via a MAN six-cylinder engine and was in its time the leading high-powered heavy tractor – as well as one of the most technologically advanced tractors in European agriculture during the 1990s.

The Favorit 824 features an on-board computer (Bordrechner) and a comprehensive diagnostic system that monitors all tractor systems and stores fault codes – at the time an exceptional level of electronic integration for an agricultural tractor.
The in-cab noise level is just 72 dB. The cab is sprung at the rear with coil springs and hydraulically sprung at the front. From 1995, the front axle was also suspended.
The Fendt Favorit 824 is the successor to the Favorit 600 series and was succeeded by the Fendt 800 Vario with continuously variable Vario transmission.
