The more than 20 parts on this page have been selected for the diesel Jungheinrich DFG 430. Lighting is among them, so you can quickly find the right lamp.
On a busy loading dock, everyone needs to see a diesel forklift coming, so on the DFG 430 plenty of maintenance starts at the lamps. This page shows more than 20 new replacement parts for this type, from HELLA, GRANIT, GRAMMER and SACEX among others, plus a filter from Perkins.
For the DFG 430 there is an orange LED rotating beacon on a push-on pin, a work lamp in spotlight form, a front indicator and a warning bulb. You will also find a halogen bulb and a red bonded reflector for the rear. A beacon on a pin sits in a tube on the roof or overhead guard. Make sure the clamping screw or retaining spring is properly tight when you fit it, otherwise vibration will shake the beacon apart before long.
If a lamp stays dark while the bulb itself is fine, check the changeover relay. The simplest test is to swap it with an identical relay from the same box. If the fault moves with the relay, you have found the cause.
For the operator there are seat cushions in black fabric, back cushions in black PVC and a shock absorber. The gas struts with ball sockets hold a flap or cover open. When the cover drops or creeps down, the strut has lost its pressure. Replace both struts together so the cover is not pulled out of line, and where space allows, fit them with the piston rod pointing down.
On the dashboard, a cover and a mounting strip close off unused switch positions, and there is a hazard light symbol too.
The engine oil filter is part of every service on the diesel. Note the number printed on the old filter and compare it with the description of the new one, so the thread and the height both match.
To confirm you are working on a DFG 430, check the data plate, which carries the type and the serial number. For bulbs and relays, the markings on the old part are the quickest way to the right replacement. A brand name such as HELLA on the lamp body narrows the choice down further.
If LPG trucks or other models from the same make share the yard with this diesel, their pages are under Jungheinrich parts, each with its own list so there is no guesswork about fit. That way every truck gets exactly the parts that belong to it.
