The Jungheinrich TFG 540 runs on LPG, and the more than 30 parts on this page are chosen to match. You will find seats, lighting and engine parts for it.
LPG forklifts such as the Jungheinrich TFG 540 come with their own service points. Hose connections in the engine bay, a pressure switch and a seat that has to last through long shifts all need attention now and then. This page gathers more than 30 replacement parts for the TFG 540, from GRAMMER, HELLA and GRANIT.
The hose clamps for this truck are worm drive clamps to DIN 3017. When you replace a hose, use a fresh clamp, since the old one has often lost its shape. Position the clamp a little way back from the end of the hose so it grips over its full width, and tighten it until the hose is secure without the band biting into the rubber. A pressure switch that sends wrong readings is usually better replaced than adjusted.
Since seat cushions are made for different upper parts, check the label on the seat before choosing one. A cushion that is not an exact fit moves about and wears through at the edges.
You will also find a halogen bulb for head, fog and work lights, a warning bulb, a round red stick on reflector, a changeover relay, a cover and the red hazard light symbol. Clean the surface well before fitting a bonded reflector, as any grease or dust will make it drop off within weeks.
The data plate tells you that the truck is a TFG 540. For the pressure switch and relay, compare the number on the old part with the reference number given for the product. For hose clamps, measure the outside of the hose. With lap belts, note which side the retractor sits on, as left and right versions differ.
The seat contact switch tells the truck that an operator is seated. When the TFG 540 will not drive although someone is sitting on it, that switch is a sensible place to start, and a flattened cushion that no longer presses it can be the hidden cause.
