The Fendt 206 S belongs to the Fendt 200 series, and this page offers more than 300 parts for it, including lighting, electrics, steering and front axle.
On a 206 S it is the small things that show up first: a work lamp that stays dark, a glow plug timer relay that makes the engine crank on and on in winter, an air brake connector head that hisses. This page holds more than 300 parts for this type from the Fendt 200 line, from GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, LUK and DANA Spicer.
There are work lamps, including angular flood beams for flush mounting, and push button switches, such as the hazard light switch with lock. For the dashboard there are switch symbols, and for the charging and starting side alternators and relays, among them a glow plug timer relay. If the engine starts poorly from cold while the battery is fine, test that relay before you start replacing glow plugs.
For the PTO clutch there are thrust bearings in the open version. Around the engine you can fit an air receiver gasket, sealing rings for the valve cover bolts and seals, for instance for the tank sensor. The linkage takes O-rings for the lower link shaft. There are also discs, repair kits and gas struts for windows and hatches.
A worn PTO clutch thrust bearing often makes a singing or humming noise that changes as soon as you operate the clutch. Do not leave it too long, because a seized bearing can damage the clutch springs. For the lower link shaft O-rings, clean and deburr the shaft before sliding the new ring over it, or you will nick it during fitting.
For the trailer brake there are connector heads, such as the red one for the supply line, and covers for the connectors. Red is the supply line, yellow the control line. A practical tip: keep the covers closed whenever nothing is hooked up. Dirt and water in the coupling head damage the small rubber seal, and the system then loses pressure. Replace that seal as soon as you hear a hiss when coupling.
The type plate shows the type and chassis number. Tractors from this line sometimes differ in equipment, such as the trailer brake system, and the chassis number settles that. For lamps, relays and gaskets, the number on the old part is a quick second check.
Within the Fendt 200 line, these Vario types each have a page of their own as well: Fendt 207 Vario, Fendt 208 Vario, Fendt 209 Vario, Fendt 210 Vario, Fendt 211 Vario and Fendt 211 V Vario. If you run one of those Varios, order there. Fendt tractors outside the 200 line each have their place on Fendt parts.
