If your 210 V Vario pulls a trailer with air brakes, the air dryer cartridge belongs in the regular service. For this model there are air dryer cartridges and connector heads. A simple check: drain the air tank at the end of a working day. If water comes out, the desiccant can no longer absorb moisture and the cartridge is due. Moisture in the system rusts valves and can freeze in winter, leaving brakes that do not release cleanly. A leaking connector head hisses audibly as soon as the line is coupled, and the cause is usually a worn seal inside the head.
For the engine there are alternators, thermostats, a heating flange and aircon compressors. The heating flange warms the intake air for a cold start. If the tractor starts badly in frost and puffs white smoke at first, the flange element or its connection is one of the first things to measure. There is also a vented tank cap and ball joints for the steering. Gas struts hold the door or bonnet open. When a strut weakens, the bonnet can drop while you are working under it, so replace it in good time.
