Not every Fendt 211 P Vario is the same. For Typ 274 on the type plate there are more than 250 parts here, such as lighting, electrics and engine parts.
A rocker switch that no longer clicks, a bonnet that will not stay up or a worn bush in a hydraulic cylinder can stop a Fendt 211 P Vario just as surely as a major failure. For the Typ 274 version there are more than 250 replacement parts on this page, from cab switches to pins and bushes.
The cab electrics are well covered. There are push button switches such as the one for the hazard lights, rocker switches for the front and rear work lamps, a pressure switch for the fuel filter head and a potentiometer for the linkage. Loose symbols for switch caps, for example the wiper and washer symbol, are available as well.
Before unplugging a rocker switch, take a photo of the wiring. These switches often have several terminals and swapping two wires means the wrong lamp comes on. After fitting a new potentiometer, recalibrate the linkage so the position control reads correctly again.
Brands include GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, BOSCH and MAHLE. Gas struts weaken gradually, so when a door or bonnet starts to drop, replace both struts at once to keep the load even on the hinges.
Keep an eye on the DW bushes in the hydraulic cylinders as well. A worn bush shows up as a knock when lifting. Press the old bush out and the new one in squarely, ideally with a drift, and grease the pin lightly before refitting.
Everything here is limited to Typ 274. You can read the number on the identification plate. If your plate shows Typ 253, the matching parts are on Fendt 211 P Vario (Typ 253). The model page Fendt 211 P Vario brings both versions together, which is useful if the plate is gone. For switches and bushes that look almost identical, comparing the number on the part you removed adds certainty.
