More than 500 parts for the Fendt 309 Vario from the Fendt 300 series on a single page, including lighting, electrics and trailer couplings.
The Fendt 309 Vario comes in two versions, each with its own Typ number. You will find that number on the tractor type plate, right after the word Typ. Once you know which number your 309 Vario carries, go to the page for that version, where only the parts that genuinely fit are shown:
This page itself holds more than 500 parts for the 309 Vario, covering both versions together. That is useful when the Typ number is not to hand, but do check each item to see whether your version is named. If in doubt, the reference number on the old part settles it.
A tractor that spends its days with heavy implements on the rear linkage will sooner or later develop play in the pivots. For the 309 Vario there are bushes for the linkage joints, pins and springs, and potentiometers that report the hitch position to the electronics. Seals, sealing rings, gaskets and O-rings for the hydraulics and engine come in many variations as well. The easiest way to find play is with the linkage fully lowered: rock the lower links by hand and watch where they rattle.
Tip: bushes and pins wear together. Fit a new pin into a worn bush and you will have play again within a season. Replace them as a pair, clean the bore thoroughly before the new bush goes in, and give the grease nipples a shot at regular intervals afterwards. A pivot that runs dry wears many times faster than one that is greased.
Starter motors and alternators keep the 309 Vario running, push button switches such as the hazard light switch sit within reach on the dash, and HELLA LED work lights let you keep going after dark. In the cab there are grab handles, floor mats and gas struts that hold the front window frame open. You will also find Wabco parts for the trailer brakes, Scharmüller parts for hitching up and PROBOSS parts for the seat. An alternator or starter is safest ordered by the number on its own housing, since that label often stays more legible than the tractor type plate.
Alongside the 309 Vario, the other models in the Fendt 300 each have a page of their own. Every model has its own parts list, so always pick the page for the tractor you are actually working on. That way you avoid ordering a part meant for the model next door.
For older models and every other Fendt tractor, go to Fendt parts.
