This page gathers more than 450 parts for the Fendt 309 Vario Typ 336. Besides lighting and electrics there is plenty for the steering and front axle.
Does the tractor pull to one side on the road, or do you keep correcting the wheel just to run straight? Worn ball joints are a common cause. For the Fendt 309 Vario Typ 336 this page has what that repair needs and a great deal more: more than 450 parts, all matched to the version with Typ 336 on its type plate.
Ball joints wear gradually. First there is a little play, then a knock as you turn in, and in the end a tractor that wanders about on the road. For the Typ 336 there are ball joints and bushes for the pivot points, so the steering can be made tight again in one go.
Ball joint tip: look at the rubber boot every time you grease the tractor. Once it splits, water and grit reach the ball and the joint is finished in no time. After fitting a new ball joint, check and reset the toe-in. Count the turns as you unscrew the old joint, and the new one will start close to the right setting. Then take a short drive and check that the steering wheel sits straight again.
On the electrical side there are starter motors and alternators, plus a whole set of switches: push button switches such as the hazard light switch, and rocker switches for lighting and extra functions. Potentiometers report the position of the linkage, among other things, to the electronics. When a function drops out, check that the plug on the switch or potentiometer is firmly seated before you replace the part itself.
For work after dark there are LED work lights and beacons, from HELLA among others, together with their holders. In the cab there are grab handles, floor mats and gas struts for the front window frame, and parts from GRAMMER and PROBOSS for the seat. The O-ring in the tank cap is a small part that saves a lot of trouble, because a cap that no longer seals lets water into the diesel. Seals for the engine and hydraulics and Wabco parts for the trailer brakes complete the set.
This page shows parts for Typ 336 only. If your type plate shows a different number, that version has its own page: Fendt 309 Vario (Typ 322). To see both versions side by side, go to the Fendt 309 Vario. Where the type plate can no longer be read, the reference number on the old part will help.
If you are also working on another model in the Fendt 300, use the page for that model: Fendt 310 Vario, Fendt 311 Vario, Fendt 312 Vario, Fendt 313 Vario or Fendt 314 Vario. Every other Fendt model is under Fendt parts.
