For the Fendt 310 Vario Typ 337 the range covers more than 450 parts. You will find lighting, electrics, and steering and front axle parts, among others.
When a 310 Vario refuses to crank on a cold morning, the starter and the alternator are the first suspects. For the version with Typ 337 on the plate you will find both on this page, along with more than 450 other parts listed for this Typ number. They come from GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, Walterscheid and PROBOSS.
This page is limited to Typ 337. The other versions of the 310 Vario have pages of their own, Typ 323 and Typ 347, and the Fendt 310 Vario overview combines them all.
Before replacing a starter motor, clean and tighten the battery terminals and check the earth cable. A poor earth makes the engine turn just as slowly as a worn starter. For the alternator, measure the charging voltage with the engine running. If it stays at battery voltage, the alternator is not charging. A slipping belt can cause the same reading, so check that first.
Ball joints for the front axle are listed for the Typ 337. On the rear linkage, a rotary potentiometer tells the electronics where the linkage is. If the linkage hunts up and down or will not hold its height, that potentiometer is a likely cause. There are also bushes for the hydraulic cylinder.
When you replace a ball joint, clean the taper and its seat in the steering knuckle until both are clean and dry, with no grease left. A taper that sits on dirt or grease will not pull tight and starts to turn later. Use a proper puller to release the old joint rather than a hammer on the thread.
A hardened O-ring at the tank lets water and dust into the diesel. Fit a new one each time you break that joint. It is a small job that protects the filters and injection system.
If you also look after another model from this range, its parts are on its own page: Fendt 309 Vario, Fendt 311 Vario, Fendt 312 Vario, Fendt 313 Vario and Fendt 314 Vario. Running a different Fendt? Every tractor of the make is listed under Fendt parts.
