There is more going on around the cab of a Fendt 411 Vario than you might think. A gas strut that no longer holds the windscreen open, a snapped handle or a hazard light switch that will not latch are small things you run into every day. This page holds more than 500 parts for the 411 Vario, from GRANIT and from brands such as HELLA, Wabco, Scharmüller and PROBOSS.
Besides those gas struts, body handles and push button switches there are rotary potentiometers for the controls, sensors, pins, springs and seals, including the O-ring for the tank cap. At the rear you will find drawbars and connector heads for the brake line to the trailer.
Working on into the dark in winter or at harvest calls for good light. For the 411 Vario there are LED work lights with a spot beam, the brackets and holders to mount them and beacons for the cab roof. If you swap old halogen work lights for LED, make sure the bracket is stiff enough and the lamp does not vibrate. A lamp on a flimsy bracket shakes itself apart and ends up lighting the sky instead of the job.
There are starter motors for this Fendt, but a few checks before ordering can save you the trouble. A starter that only clicks or turns slowly is often just short of current. Charge the battery fully and test it, clean the terminals and check the earth cable between engine and chassis. The thin control wire to the solenoid on the starter can also be loose or corroded. Only when all of that is in order and it still will not crank properly is the starter itself to blame. Disconnect the negative battery terminal first when you replace it.
Start with the type plate on the tractor, which gives the type and serial number. After that the old part often settles it, since starter motors, sensors and switches carry a reference number you can hold against the new one.
