For the Typ 414 there are beacons on a push-on pin, LED work lights and the separate spring for the beacon holder. That spring absorbs the knocks that would otherwise go straight into the lamp. Once it goes slack, the beacon swings about and the contacts in the base wear out faster, so a timely spring swap can spare you a new beacon. Push button switches and wide-angle mirrors are also listed.
A diesel smell around the tank or dirt collecting at the filler neck often means the O-ring in the tank cap has dried out. Water and dust can then find their way into the fuel. You can order the tank cap O-ring on its own or a complete cap, lockable versions included.
For trailers with air brakes there are Wabco connector heads, such as the red one for the supply line, plus covers for the connectors. Rubber floor mats and gas struts complete the cab. Small things matter on the connector heads as well. A head left without its cover picks up mud and rain on every trip, and that dirt goes straight into the brake line the next time you hitch up. A new cover takes seconds to fit and protects the valves on the trailer. Listen after coupling, too. A hiss at the joint usually means the seal inside the head has hardened.
Take the old part and look for a reference number. It may be on a label, moulded into the rubber or stamped into the metal. When that number matches the item and your type plate says Typ 414, you can order with confidence.
