Seals, O-rings and gaskets make up an important share of what is available for the Typ 415. Among them are a gasket for the front cover and the O-ring for the tank cap, which comes as a lockable version too.
When fitting a flat gasket such as the one for the front cover, clean both faces back to bare metal with a plastic scraper rather than a screwdriver, which leaves scratches that later weep oil. Degrease the faces afterwards. Do not add sealant unless the workshop manual calls for it, because excess sealant can break away and block oil passages. Tighten the bolts in a cross pattern and in stages.
For visibility there are wide-angle mirrors, and for lighting LED work lights and a rotating beacon with the spring for its holder. In the cab there are rubber floor mats and push button switches, for example for valve control. Gas struts, discs, a connector cover and a sensor complete the picture. Disconnect the battery before changing a push button switch, and take a photo of the wiring first so no wires get swapped.
A wide-angle mirror is best adjusted with the trailer hitched and the tractor standing straight. Set it so you can see the rear corner of the trailer and the ground next to the rear wheel. That way you know exactly where the wheels are running when you turn.
For trailer air brakes there are connector heads, including the red supply line head on the tractor side. Replace a head whose rubber seal has gone hard or split, even if the leak seems small, so the brake pressure for the trailer stays where it should be.
