To keep the tractor tight there are seals, O-rings and the front cover gasket. Where something turns or pivots you will find bushes and discs. A bush with too much play lets the pin wear inside it, and later you are replacing two parts instead of one. Always fit a new circlip or split pin when you replace a bush, and grease the bush before you push the pin in.
On the electrical side there are push button switches, including one for the valve control, pressure switches and sensors. Lighting comes as LED work lights and HELLA beacons, with separate springs for the holder. At the rear there are drawbars from ROCKINGER and Walterscheid and hydraulic top links for the linkage. Air brake parts come from Wabco. In the cab there are rubber floor mats.
Typ 742 also has a lockable fuel cap. On a tractor left in a field or at the roadside overnight, that is no luxury. Whatever cap you use, keep an eye on the breather. If it blocks, a vacuum builds up in the tank and the engine can start to falter after a while because fuel is no longer drawn through properly.
You read the Typ number off the type plate. If it says 742, the parts on this page belong to your tractor. If you are unsure about a single part, find the reference number on the old one. On pressure switches and sensors it is often on the housing or the hex.
