Running a Fendt 724 Vario Typ 765? This page lists more than 60 parts for that version, including lighting, electrics, and steering and front axle parts.
A rubber floor mat might seem an odd place to start, but it shows exactly why the Typ number matters. The grey mat with a cut-out for the engine brake on this page is made for a run of Fendt tractors up to the 724 in its Typ 765 version. The whole page works that way. You only see parts that belong to the Fendt 724 Vario Typ 765, more than 60 of them. That is fewer than for the other versions, but every one of them can be traced to this version.
When a tractor is slow to crank or the battery keeps going flat, the trail usually leads to the starter or the alternator, and both are here, the starter as a gear reduction type. For the exhaust aftertreatment there are NOX sensors, and for the cooling system temperature sensors. The hydraulic pumps on this page come from Bosch/Rexroth among others.
If the steering starts to feel loose or the front tyres wear on one edge, check the ball joints first. Set the wheels straight, have someone rock the steering wheel back and forth and feel with your hand on the joint for any movement. Ideally replace both joints on a track rod together and have the toe-in reset afterwards.
The air dryer takes moisture out of the compressed air before it reaches the tanks and brakes. Open the drain valve on the air tank now and then. If water comes out, the cartridge is saturated and needs replacing. Do not leave it too long, because moisture in the system freezes valves in winter and rusts the lines in summer.
For road work there are front indicators, LED tail and brake lights and round reflectors, many of them from HELLA. A cracked indicator or reflector is quick to put right and saves trouble at a roadside check. If you see condensation inside a lamp, check the rubber seal around the lens, because moisture attacks the contacts and the light will eventually fail halfway down the road.
The Typ number is on the identification plate. If it does not say 765, go to the Fendt 724 Vario Typ 737 or the Fendt 724 Vario Typ 743. The Fendt 724 Vario page shows everything for the model together. Other tractors from the Fendt 700 have their own pages too: 712 Vario, 714 Vario, 716 Vario, 718 Vario, 720 Vario and 722 Vario. If you also run another Fendt, start from the Fendt parts overview and pick its type there.
