With more than 650 parts, this page offers a wide choice for the Fendt 820 Vario from the Fendt 800 series. Look under lighting, electrics or trailer couplings.
A Fendt 820 Vario from the 800 series puts in long days, and this page holds more than 650 parts to keep it going. They cover the cab, lighting, driveline and engine, and come from brands such as GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, Scharmüller and GRAMMER.
The driver seat gets more use than any other part of the tractor. Air suspended tractor seats of the Maximo Professional type are available here. If the seat slowly sinks while you sit on it, listen for a hiss. A leaking air bag or a split hose is the usual cause. When the compressor under the seat kicks in at every movement, the system is losing air somewhere.
Gas struts for the windscreen, body handles, holders and push button switches, for example for the hazard lights, complete the cab section. A weak windscreen strut lets the screen slam shut in a gust, so replace it before the glass gets broken.
There are repair kits for the drive set that are also used on Massey Ferguson, hand brake cables and drawbars in AGCO grey. A new hand brake cable always needs adjusting after fitting. Pull the lever firmly a few times so the cable beds in, then set the play. Left and right cables differ, so check which side you need before you order. Afterwards make sure the brake is fully released with the lever down, or it will run hot in use.
For the engine there are starter motors. If the 820 Vario cranks slowly, check battery voltage and the ground strap first. Only when both are fine and the starter just clicks is the starter itself to blame. Seals, for instance for the fuel sensors, and O-rings for the fuel tank cap are also on the page.
The type plate tells you which model you are working on. For starters, switches and sensors, the reference number on the old part is a dependable guide. Match it against the details given for each product.
Each model in the series has its own page:
