For the Typ 839 version of the Fendt 822 Vario from the Fendt 800 series, this page has more than 250 parts, such as lighting, electrics and trailer couplings.
If the plate on your tractor says Typ 839, this page is meant for you. It lists more than 250 parts assigned to the 822 Vario with exactly that Typ number. Parts for the other version of the model have been filtered out, which makes choosing a lot simpler.
A fuel cap does more than close the tank. It contains a vent that lets air in as the engine draws diesel. When that vent clogs with dust or dried dirt, a vacuum builds in the tank and after a while the engine can start to stutter or even stall. A clear sucking sound as you unscrew the cap is a giveaway. A cap with a hardened or cracked seal does the opposite and lets moisture and dirt in, which ends up in the fuel filter later on. A lockable cap also keeps unwanted visitors out when the tractor is left overnight on a field far from the yard. Keep the key on the ignition key ring, so it is never at home when you need to refuel out in the field.
You read the Typ number from the type plate on the tractor. If the plate is damaged or weathered, compare the reference number on the old part with the products on this page. If your plate shows another number, the page for the Fendt 822 Vario (Typ 833) will help you further, as will the general page for the Fendt 822 Vario covering the whole model.
The other tractors in the 800 range, the Fendt 815 Vario, Fendt 818 Vario, Fendt 820 Vario, Fendt 824 Vario, Fendt 826 Vario and Fendt 828 Vario, each have a page of their own. All Fendt tractors at a glance are found under Fendt parts.
