In the Typ 835 version, the Fendt 826 Vario from the Fendt 800 range takes more than 350 parts, for example lighting, electrics and trailer couplings.
Everything on this page is matched to one version only, the Fendt 826 Vario with Typ 835 on its rating plate. That plate is the first thing to check before ordering. If it reads Typ 841, head to Fendt 826 Vario (Typ 841) instead. For Typ 835 there are more than 350 parts here, from alternators to tank caps.
A warning light on the dash or a battery that struggles in the morning usually puts the alternator under suspicion. Rule out the easy causes first. Check the belt tension and look for a glazed or slipping belt. Then inspect the earth strap and the main positive cable at the alternator, since a corroded terminal gives exactly the same symptoms. With a multimeter, read the battery voltage with the engine off and again with it running. If the reading barely rises, the alternator or its regulator really is at fault. Before fitting the new unit, hold it next to the old one and compare the flange, mounting lugs and pulley.
These come from GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, ROCKINGER and GRAMMER. For seals and small brackets the rating plate is often not enough on its own. Look at the part you removed, because many carry a stamped or moulded reference number that you can compare against the parts on this page.
A rotating beacon that rattles on its bracket often only needs a new holder spring. That spring is available on its own, so there is no need to replace the beacon or the bracket straight away. On a beacon with a push-on pin, also check that the pin is straight and the bracket tube has not worn oval.
To see all parts for the 826 Vario together, without the split by Typ number, go to Fendt 826 Vario. The other tractors in the Fendt 800 series each have a page of their own:
That way each machine gets parts chosen for its own type. The complete brand overview is at Fendt parts.
