Long hours in the cab make the seat one of the first things worth looking at. For Typ 841 there are several GRAMMER tractor seats, including the air suspended Maximo Professional. If an air seat slowly sinks, or its little compressor keeps cutting in, there is almost always an air leak. Raise the seat to the top, switch the engine off and listen for the hiss. A split air spring or a loose pipe is the usual cause. If the base itself has worn and the seat rattles even with good air pressure, a complete seat is the more sensible repair.
