This page shows more than 350 parts for the Fendt 933 Vario Typ 944, covering lighting, trailer couplings and electrics, so you can order precisely.
Is the charging light on with the engine running, or is the battery flat after every cold night? Then the alternator is an obvious suspect. For the 933 Vario with Typ 944 this page has alternators, along with the rest of what can be replaced on this version, more than 350 parts in all.
On the electrical side there are also temperature sensors such as the air conditioning sensor, other sensors and push button switches, among them the switch for the air conditioning and heating. For the cab you will find tractor seats and LED work lights, with amber beacons and their brackets for the roof. Around the engine there are seals and tank caps.
Replacing an alternator does not take long, but a few checks first can save you the job. Look at the tension and condition of the drive belt, clean the battery terminals and the earth cable, and measure the battery voltage with the engine running. If the reading is wrong while belt and cables are fine, the alternator is the likely cause. Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before you undo the alternator, or one slip with a spanner can short the heavy charging cable.
For hitching, the Typ 944 has drawbars, a Piton Fix, inserts for the pick-up hitch and connector heads for the brake line to the trailer, plus springs for the three-point linkage. If a connector head hisses when you couple up, the rubber seal inside it has often gone hard. Keep the dust covers closed when no trailer is attached so dirt stays out of the line. Brands such as GRANIT, HELLA, ROCKINGER, Wabco and DANA Spicer supply what fits this 933.
Check the type plate on the tractor. Next to the model name it shows the type number, and this page lists only the parts for Typ 944. If the plate cannot be read, take the reference number from the part you removed. Alternators, sensors and switches nearly always have one on the housing.
If your tractor turns out to be a different version, its parts are on a page of their own: Fendt 933 Vario Typ 931, Fendt 933 Vario Typ 952 or Fendt 933 Vario Typ 958. To see every version together first, open the Fendt 933 Vario page.
Also working on other Fendts from the 900 series? There are pages for the 930 Vario, 936 Vario, 939 Vario, 942 Vario, 924 Vario and 927 Vario. Every other Fendt tractor is under Fendt parts.
