The Fendt Favorit 10S is often referred to simply as the "Favorit 10", but the official type designation is 10S. Built between 1970 and 1972 in Marktoberdorf, Germany, the tractor was available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The 10S is part of the larger Favorit series, where the liquid-cooled MWM six-cylinder engine was a defining feature of the heavier models in the lineup, including the 11S and 12SA.
The wheelbase measures 261 cm, overall length is 439 cm and width comes in at 210 cm. Steering wheel height is 193 cm, while the ROPS height is 254 cm. Ground clearance is 40 cm.
Weight depends on the configuration: the 2WD version weighs 3,895 kg and the 4WD version 4,055 kg. Standard tyre sizes for the 2WD are 7.50-20 front and 14-34 rear. The 4WD pairs 9-24 front tyres with the same 14-34 rears.

The standard gearbox offers 16 forward and 8 reverse gears. A creeper transmission was available as an option, bringing that up to 20 forward and 10 reverse gears. The tractor runs power steering and wet disc brakes.
The rear hitch has a lift capacity of 3,000 kg. The rear PTO runs at either 540 or 1,000 rpm.
