Looking for parts for your Fendt Favorit 2 tractor? In this category, you'll find everything you need for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
The Fendt Favorit 2 was produced from 1959 to 1963 in Marktoberdorf. It followed the Favorit 1 and was replaced by the Favorit 3 in 1964. Unlike the Favorit 3 and Favorit 4, which were both available with a 4WD option, the Favorit 2 came only as a 2WD with rear-wheel drive.
At around 2,100 kg, the Favorit 2 is lighter than the Favorit 3 at 2,600 kg and considerably lighter than the Favorit 4 at 3,685 kg, making it the smallest and lightest of the three early Favorit models.
Power comes from a MWM KD412D, a naturally aspirated three-cylinder diesel with liquid cooling. Displacement is 3.1 litres, with a bore and stroke of 105 x 120 mm. Output is 46 hp (34.3 kW) at a rated speed of 2,100 rpm, with an idle range of 800 to 2,275 rpm. The electrical system runs on 12 volts. The rear PTO runs at 540 rpm and the three-point rear hitch is Category I with mechanical regulation.
Compared to the Favorit 3 that followed, the Favorit 2 has a three-cylinder rather than a four-cylinder engine and gives up 6 hp. The lower output and simpler transmission make it a clearly earlier generation machine.
The gearbox offers 9 forward gears and 2 reverse gears, noticeably fewer than the 16 forward gears of the Favorit 3. Steering is manual and brakes are mechanical drum brakes. There is no cab as standard; the Favorit 2 has an open platform.
