Do you need parts for your Fendt Favorit 610, 610 S, 610 LS or 610 LSA? In this category you’ll find all parts that fit these models from the Fendt Favorit series.
The Fendt Favorit 610 LS carries the internal type designation FW 281 and was built from 1978 to 1984. A total of 2,177 units were produced, of which 301 had rear-wheel drive (chassis number T 281.012) and 1,876 had four-wheel drive (chassis number T 281.212). The predecessor was the Favorit 610 S, built from 1972 to 1976. Compared to the intermediate SL version, the LS models brought larger tyres, a power increase of 5 hp and an improved cab noise level of 81 dB.
The type designation FW 281 applies to both the SL and the LS version, which means it is advisable to use the chassis number as a starting point when sourcing parts.
The Favorit 610 LS is fitted with an MWM D 227-6.2, a water-cooled six-cylinder four-stroke inline diesel engine without turbocharger and with direct injection. The engine features overhead valves, pressure circulation lubrication, a seven-bearing crankshaft, a gear-driven camshaft, a dry air filter, an inline injection pump with governor, a multi-hole injector and thermostatically controlled dual-circuit cooling with a flat-fin radiator. The governed speed range runs from 650 to 2,450 rpm and minimum oil pressure at rated speed is 2.0 bar.
Power output is 95 hp. Maximum torque is 352 Nm at 1,450 rpm.
The drive clutch is a hydraulically operated self-adjusting dry clutch type Fichtel & Sachs G 310 K. The torque converter is a pre-mounted hydraulic fluid coupling type Voith 422 TD-F3. The PTO clutch is a dry multi-disc clutch, independent of the drive clutch. The gearbox is a helical-cut ZF group fine-step gearbox type T 3312 with side-mounted gear selection, with a top speed of 30 km/h in the basic version. Optional creep gears and super creep gears were available.
The PTO is switchable between 540 and 1,000 rpm. An optional front PTO is available.
The hydraulic pump delivers 40 litres per minute. The rear three-point hitch is category III with quick coupler and is fitted with draft, position and mixed control. An optional front linkage is available.
The brakes are hydraulically operated full disc brakes on the rear wheels, usable as individual wheel brakes. On the four-wheel drive version, a front wheel disc brake acts on the drive; when the individual wheel brake is applied, the front wheel brake disengages automatically. The front axle is a power-shift ZF steering-drive planetary oscillating axle type APL-3052 with lateral propshaft. An optional single or dual-circuit compressed air braking system is available. Steering is hydrostatically assisted.
The cab is a rubber-mounted, vibration and sound-insulated safety cab with a glass area of 4.7 m² and a noise level of 81 dB. Standard equipment includes fold-open front and rear windows, analogue instruments, a height, fore-aft and tilt-adjustable seat with armrests, interior lighting, windscreen washer system, two-stage heating, three-stage ventilation system, radio preparation, sun visor and height-adjustable steering wheel. An optional low cab, air conditioning, tinted windows and a spotlight were available.
Standard tyre sizes are 14.9-26 at the front and 18.4R38 at the rear.
The Favorit 610 LS is the smallest tractor in the 600 series and the only model in that series without an MWM D 226 engine. The 610 LS has an MWM D 227, a slightly smaller engine type than the D 226 used in the 611 and above. At 95 hp, the 610 LS is the least powerful model in the LS series; the 611 LS starts at 100 hp. Compared to the SL predecessor, the LS version brought a new, larger cab with better sound insulation, larger tyres and 5 hp more power. Parts from the 610 LS and the 610 SL overlap partially, but when in doubt it is always advisable to check the chassis number given that both share the type designation FW 281.
