Looking for parts for your Fendt Favorit 611 (Typ 282) tractor? In this category, you'll find everything you need for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
The Fendt Favorit 611 LS carries the internal type designation FWA 282 and was built from 1977 to 1984. The series includes both a rear-wheel drive version and a four-wheel drive version. The rear-wheel drive version carries chassis number T 282.011 and covers 221 units built between 1978 and 1983. The four-wheel drive version carries chassis number T 282.211 and covers 4,495 units built between 1977 and 1984. Across both versions, the series was built more than 8,500 times in total when the SL version (Typ 282 SL) that preceded the LS is also included. The successor is the Favorit 611 LSA (Typ 382), which was delivered exclusively with four-wheel drive.
The type designation FWA 282 applies to both the SL and the LS version, which can cause confusion when sourcing parts. The chassis number is therefore the most reliable starting point with this series for determining exactly which model is involved.
The Favorit 611 LS is fitted with an MWM D 226.6.2, a water-cooled six-cylinder four-stroke inline diesel engine without turbocharger and with direct injection. The engine features overhead valves, pressure circulation lubrication, a gear-driven camshaft, a seven-bearing crankshaft, an inline injection pump with governor, a multi-hole injector, a dry air filter with pre-cleaner and thermostatically controlled dual-circuit cooling with a flat-fin radiator. Displacement is 6,234 cc, with a bore of 105 mm and a stroke of 120 mm. Maximum injection pressure is 180 to 185 bar.
Power increased over the course of the production period. In the early version, the engine produces 100 hp at a rated speed of 2,350 rpm, with a maximum torque of 362 Nm at 1,600 rpm. In the later version, output was raised to 110 hp at 2,300 rpm, with a maximum torque of 412 Nm at 1,500 rpm. Fuel consumption at maximum power is 225 g/kWh.
The 611 LS has a helical-cut ZF group fine-step gearbox type T 3312 or T 3345 with side-mounted gear selection, depending on the production phase. The basic version has a top speed of 30 km/h. Later in the production period, a 40 km/h version was also available. The gearbox works in conjunction with a hydraulically operated self-adjusting dry clutch and a Voith fluid coupling acting as the torque converter. The PTO clutch is a dry multi-disc clutch, independent of the drive clutch.
The PTO is switchable between 540 and 1,000 rpm. An optional front PTO is available.
The hydraulic tandem pump delivers 43.7 plus 25.3 litres per minute at 180 bar. The rear three-point hitch achieves a maximum lift capacity of 7,410 kg. The permissible front axle load is 2,300 kg for the rear-wheel drive version and 3,000 kg for the four-wheel drive version. The permissible rear axle load for both versions is 5,200 kg. The permissible gross weight is 6,500 kg for the rear-wheel drive version and 7,000 kg for the four-wheel drive version, later raised to 7,500 kg.
The brakes are hydraulically operated full disc brakes on the rear wheels, usable as individual wheel brakes. On the four-wheel drive version, a front wheel disc brake acts on the drive; when the individual wheel brake is applied, the front wheel brake disengages automatically. The front axle is a power-shift ZF steering-drive planetary oscillating axle type APL-3052 with lateral propshaft and a steering angle of 45 degrees. From 1983, the Dana 004 F front axle was fitted. Steering is hydrostatically assisted.
Standard tyre sizes are 14.9-26 at the front and 18.4R38 at the rear. The cab is a rubber-mounted, vibration and sound-insulated safety cab with a noise level of 81 dB, fold-open front and rear windows, three-stage ventilation system, two-stage heating, radio preparation and height-adjustable steering wheel. An optional low cab, air conditioning and tinted windows were available.
The Typ 282 has a naturally aspirated engine without turbocharger producing 100 or 110 hp and is available with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Typ 382 is available exclusively with four-wheel drive, has a turbocharged engine producing 125 hp in its second phase, a higher hydraulic pump output and higher permissible axle loads. Parts are partially interchangeable, but the engine types and turbocharger components are naturally not interchangeable between the two.
