Looking for parts for your Fendt Favorit 614 (Typ 384) tractor? In this category, you'll find everything you need for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
The Fendt Favorit 614 LSA is the four-wheel drive version from the Favorit 600 series and carries the internal type designation T 384. The tractor was produced from 1983 to 1993 and went through two clearly distinct production phases during that period, each with its own technical designation and engine output. The LS variant with rear-wheel drive falls under type FWA 284. The 614 LSA was the model that remained in production for the longest period within the LS line of the 600 series.
The Favorit 614 LSA is fitted with a helical-cut ZF synchronised fine-step gearbox, type T 3550, with side-mounted gear selection. The main gearbox has four pre-selectable speed ranges. In the 40 km/h version, the ranges are divided as follows: first range 0 to 5.2 km/h, second range 0 to 8.2 km/h, third range 0 to 12.8 km/h and fourth range 0 to 19.4 km/h. In the 30 km/h version, the six forward gears run from 2.47 to 24.48 km/h; in the 40 km/h version from 3.07 to 30.36 km/h. From 1987 onwards, the Duospeed gearbox was available alongside the conventional transmission, enabling a continuously variable drive range up to 20 km/h. There was also an extremely rare 50 km/h version, although approximately 45 km/h was achieved in practice.
The Favorit 614 LSA is powered by an MWM TD 226-6.2, a water-cooled six-cylinder four-stroke inline turbodiesel engine with direct injection. Further engine features include Rotocap valves, individually mounted cylinder heads, piston crown cooling, ring carrier pistons, a dry air filter with pre-cleaner, an inline injection pump with governor and thermostatically controlled dual-circuit cooling. The crankshaft runs on seven bearings.
Displacement is 6,234 cc. Power output varies depending on the production phase. In the first phase (T 384.210, 1983 to 1987, 649 units), the engine produces 155 hp, with a maximum torque of 522 Nm at 1,500 rpm. In the second phase (T 384.211, 1988 to 1993, 922 units), output was increased to 165 hp, with a maximum torque of 631 Nm at 1,500 rpm.
The PTO is switchable between 540 and 1,000 rpm. An optional front PTO with power-shift drive at 1,000 rpm is available.
The hydraulic tandem pump delivers 72 litres per minute (46 plus 26 litres) at a working pressure of 180 bar. The rear three-point hitch achieves a maximum lift capacity of 7,410 kg. An optional front linkage with category II three-point hitch is available, with a maximum lift capacity of 3,490 kg. The lift system features Fendt-Tronic for delay-free activation of the control impulse, draft, position and continuously variable mixed control, rapid raise, transport lock, lowering restrictor, lift height limiter and depth control.
The braking system consists of hydraulically operated internal shoe brakes acting on the rear wheels, usable as individual wheel brakes. Steering is hydrostatically assisted.
Standard tyre sizes are 16.9-26 at the front and 20.8R38 at the rear. The unladen weight of the 614 LS is approximately 6,140 kg.
The cab is a rubber-mounted, sound and vibration-isolated safety cab with fold-open front and rear windows, tinted glass, windscreen washer system, sun visor, two-stage hot water heating, three-stage ventilation system, coat hooks, two work lights, radio preparation, roof hatch, air-suspended seat, digital tractor meter, height-adjustable steering wheel and interior lighting.
A question that frequently comes up with the 614 is the difference between it and the LS and the earlier SL version. The Favorit 614 SL (type FWA 284) is the late 1970s version with rear-wheel drive. The 614 LSA (type 384) combines four-wheel drive with the revised LS cab and hydraulics. Engine-wise the two are closely related, but the LSA received a substantial power increase in its second phase, rising from 155 to 165 hp, along with higher torque figures.
