Tractor seats, including GRAMMER models, handles and shock absorbers for the windscreen frame look after the driving position, with rubber stops and discs to finish off. If the windscreen will no longer stay open, the strut is usually tired. Where two support the same frame, replace both.
Alternators, headlights, corner work lights and holder brackets for mounting extra work lamps are all here. So are push button switches, for example for the hazard lights, and potentiometers. After replacing a potentiometer, the function it controls often needs recalibrating or setting up again. Allow time for that before the tractor goes back out to the field.
For the cooling system there are coolant hoses, among them a moulded lower elbow for the radiator. Always fit new clamps with a new hose, and squeeze the other hoses while you are there. One that feels soft or swollen is next in line. A hose that delaminates inside can restrict flow without any sign on the outside.
Around the engine and fuel system you will find seals, for example for the tank sensor, O-rings for the feed pump and complete seal kits. Pins for pivot points complete this group. Before changing the seal on the tank sensor, run the tank as low as you sensibly can and clean around the sensor thoroughly, so no dirt drops into the fuel and ends up blocking the filters later.
First make sure from the rating plate that the tractor really is a Favorit 916. After that, the number on the old part is your best guide. On an alternator it is on the label on the housing, and on a headlight it is often moulded into the glass or the back. For hoses and seals, compare shape and connections side by side with the old part, which matters most with a moulded elbow.
