More than 700 parts fit the Fendt Favorit 926 from the Favorit 900 series. You will find lighting, trailer couplings, electrics and more on this page.
A Favorit 926 that has done its hours still earns its keep, provided the small things are dealt with before they turn into big ones. This page brings together more than 700 replacement parts that fit the Favorit 926, from GRANIT and from HELLA, Scharmüller, Wabco and ROCKINGER.
Coolant hoses, such as the lower rubber elbow, are among the first parts an older Favorit asks for. With the engine warm, squeeze each hose. If one feels hard and cracks, or soft and swollen near the clamp, change it before it splits on the road. Use new hose clamps, tighten them without cutting into the rubber, and bleed the cooling system after topping up so no air pocket stays trapped near the thermostat.
Around the engine you will also find seals, for example for the tank sensor, seal kits, O-rings for the feed pump, and alternators.
A potentiometer tells the electronics where a lever or knob is set. As it wears, the controls start to respond jerkily or a function cuts out now and then. Move the lever slowly through its full travel and watch for hesitation. When you fit a new one, clean and dry the connector as well, because moisture in the plug causes exactly the same symptoms. After changing the hazard light switch, walk round the tractor and check that every indicator flashes.
For hitching up there are drawbars, automatic ones included, and pins. A worn pin in the drawbar shows up as play and knocking behind the tractor. Replace it early, because every jolt from the trailer makes the play worse.
Read the rating plate to confirm the tractor really is a Favorit 926. After that, the old part does the talking. Headlights and switches usually carry a maker's number, coolant hoses sometimes a moulded code. If nothing is legible, hold the old part next to the picture and compare connections and bends.
The Favorit 916 comes from the same Favorit 900 line and has its own page: Fendt Favorit 916. For any other Fendt, go to Fendt parts.
