The Fendt GT 230 is a classic implement carrier from the early GT series by Fendt and was introduced from 1964onwards as the successor to earlier implement carrier models. With this model, Fendt responded to the increasing demand for more powerful implement carriers in agriculture. The Fendt GT 230 was produced at the Fendt factory in Marktoberdorf, Germany. The GT 230 was designed especially for versatile work in arable farming, grassland and specialist crops, and impressed with its compact design featuring a central frame. The Fendt GT 230 was equipped with a MWM AKD 210.5 D 3-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine with a displacement of 2,233 cc. The engine uses a pre-combustion chamber system and produces approximately 30 hp. From the factory, the Fendt GT 230 was supplied in the familiar Fendt green paintwork with red wheels, as was common for Fendt during this period.
